Índice de Sustenibilidad Portuaria en Norteamérica: Un Enfoque Comparativo Ambiental

En este estudio se realiza un Índice de Sustentabilidad Portuaria (ISP) para evaluar y comparar el desempeño ambiental de los principales puertos de México, Estados Unidos y Canadá en 2024. El índice integra seis dimensiones ambientales: emisiones, consumo de agua, consumo energético, residuos, contaminación acústica y gestión ambiental. Los resultados muestran asimetrías significativas: México alcanza el promedio más alto, seguido de Canadá y, finalmente, Estados Unidos. El ISP confirma la hipótesis de disparidades regionales y se presenta como herramienta útil para la política pública y la gestión portuaria sustentable.
